Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I care to wish you happy birthday; a birth of life, hope, ideas, opportunities, inventions……I tell you, it’s a pretty new day. You are the product of your past, but you don’t have to be a prisoner to your past and present the picture of your past in the present. You are what you are right now, but you can’t be what you were. As it ever occurs to you that, life is all about what you can live for, all you can live, how best you can live, definitely, life is worth living. Have you forgotten that you are here for a serious business, and then activate your ATM for the best transaction you could ever make. It’s free but optional.
ATTITUDE…Care to ask yourself this: “If I continue with this my attitude, where will I be in ten years time.” Your altitude revolves around your attitude. Attitude is everything. Don’t just be active in life, be passionately proactive. Take responsibility for your life. Your ability to dictate your drive in life determines the dimension of your destiny.
This is not all you can be; this is not your best. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent; it’s all about you. Be genuinely interested in your purpose of life. Change your attitude, change your life, change the way you think about yourself and your potentials it’s your responsibility.
TIME PERSPECTIVE…….There is no better time than now. Action is function of time. You cannot afford to spend the next moment like this. Start from somewhere, be fast at it. Your time perspective is the amount of time you take into consideration in your day to day activities to invest in your long-term perspective which is your destiny. The good news is that you are endowed with the potential and power to make decision, but the bad news is that, you have the free will either to make it now or then. Opinion is cheap, but conviction is expensive. It lies in your hands.
MISSION…..Get the mission of your vision. You have a mission you must fulfill…….a life of fulfillment. I must remind you this, the future you cannot picture you can’t capture, and the nature of your future is a treasure which no creature can measure, so, be very careful with the treasure you are carrying.
You have the seed of greatness in you unveiled by vision, driven by passion and nurtured by mission; it’s viable. Get the perspective and the concise map of that big picture. Think about this “When you don’t know where you are going everywhere seems a destination, when you don’t know who you are, you answer to any name you are called. Know what you are and what you want.
The world without you creates a vacuum which no man can perfectly fill. The only thing that walks back from the tomb with the mourners and refuses to be buried is the history of the man. It can never be buried. Do you want to watch history or make history? I wonder what the world would have lost if you have not been born. Imagine what the world stands to miss about you, when you died; hear what your biography speaks on your obituary. You can always move from zero to hero.
